- IP address — used for analytics and security, not stored long-term
- Cookies — for site functionality, preferences, and analytics (see Cookie section below)

2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the Style Academy content and track your reading progress
- To send newsletters, style tips, and product recommendations you subscribed to
- To process purchases and send digital product download links

3. Email Communications
When you subscribe to our newsletter or join the Style Academy free tier, you will receive our welcome email series (5 emails over 10 days) and periodic style content. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or emailing hello@menfashionsense.com.
Transactional emails (purchase receipts, download links, billing notifications) cannot be opted out of as they are required to deliver services you purchased.

- Analytics cookies — understanding how readers use the site (anonymised)
- Preference cookies — remembering dismissed banners and popups

- Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe
- Purchase records are retained for 7 years for legal/tax compliance
- Academy progress data is retained while your account is active
- Analytics data is anonymised after 26 months
